Taking a Road Trip

One of my favorite things to do in life is just drive. I know that it isn’t a very environmentally friendly pastime, but when I am sitting behind the wheel of a car I feel like I am free. All my worries and problems in life vanish, and it is just me and the road.
So, this year for my summer vacation, I decided that I would pickup a Orlando car rental at the airport, and take a long drive. I know that it might not make sense to those of you who make lists and have an itinerary for their trips, but I just wanted to see where the road took me.
I looked in the phonebook for Orlando rental cars, phone a number of the listings, and wrote down the prices so that I could compare them to pick the best deal. Truth be told, I didn’t need a very special car, just something that was reliable and good on gas.
I called back the company that I wanted to go with, and when my flight lands next Wednesday, I should be able to hop in my car and just go. I can’t wait to see where I end up – it should be quite an adventure.
