Moving off of our self managed server

So, the decision making time has finally arrived. I need to choose whether my company is going to continue to use the self managed server package we have had for the past several years. The only reason this is happening now is due to the fact that our hosting provider has added a whole bunch of new offerings to their menu of services, and some of them may make more sense for us from a financial perspective.
When we first started out online we actually had a couple of servers we owned colocated at their data center. This was great for us at the time because we had already invested in the hardware. When we placed our boxes in their facility, we were able to get a nice, fat Internet pipe that allowed our website visitors to receive our pages in speedy fashion.
Then we moved off our boxes to the self managed boxes. And this has worked well for the past couple of years. Now, however, if we have the opportunity to save even more money while providing a great user experience, we are definitely going to consider checking out the unmanaged dedicated server hosting packages our provider is adding to their mix.
