Airsoft Gun Safety Tips

Lots of people are interested in playing the game of airsoft, a live action shooting game in which military-style weapons (such as kwa guns and tokyo marui guns) are loaded with harmless BBs and the players use them to shoot at one another. The guns used in this game are considered to be safe but there are things that you can do to increase the safety of using your airsoft gun.
Safety tips for airsoft include:
- Always wear protective gear. The BBs used in airsoft are basically harmless but you should use protective goggles to protect the eyes. Other gear may be worn as well depending upon the style of play.
- Be sober and responsible when playing. It’s important to always be aware of what you’re doing with your gun during game play.
- Engage in safe shooting practices. For example, you would make sure to keep your finger off of the trigger when not aiming to shoot.
- Practice before playing. Make sure that you’ve tested out how to use all equipment before the game begins so that you can be sure of its safety.
Basically this is a safe game but you can always go the extra mile to make sure that it’s truly safe for everyone involved.

Realistic Toy Guns have come a long ways. You just can’t ever point a toy gun at someone even if it has an orange safety cap on it. Kids and adults alike need to be taught that this is like walking in front of a car on the street. It could be deadly.
