Start Compromising With the Wedding

Many couples end up getting into huge fights about their weddings. That’s because neither person wants to compromise too much on how this special day is going to go. Learning how to compromise now could be the smartest thing you ever do.

The trick is to make sure that you respect the other person enough to compromise but that you also respect yourself enough to know the boundaries of compromising. For example, let’s say that your partner really wants to get Claddagh wedding rings but you don’t like that design. You don’t want to go so far as to get a wedding ring that you dislike since you’re going to be wearing it for the rest of your marriage. But perhaps you can compromise by looking at other Celtic wedding rings so that you find something that works for both of you? Wedding location, attire and entertainment can also all be compromised on in this way.

A marriage is all about compromise. You will be compromising with this person for the rest of your life. If you can’t compromise at the wedding then you’re probably in trouble. If you can compromise on this important day then you’re probably going to be all right.
