Feeling Good About my Life

One of the biggest things that I have noticed in my adult life is that most people are walking around unhappy. They are unhappy with the situations that they are in, the jobs that they are working, and yet they do nothing about it. It actually makes me sad when I see these people – if we only have one life to live, why would you live a life that you are disappointed in?
Thankfully, that isn’t the way I feel about my life. I am constantly reminded of my choices in life when I stare up at my diploma frame in my study at home, and I am thankful for the choices that I have made. Going to college was the first step on my journey.
You see, I received my education at college which would pave my way for my career and income for my life. If I had not gone to college, I might have been flipping burgers for a living and not had the opportunity to be in a financial position to buy the things that I truly desired.
I also would never have met my wife, which would mean that I wouldn’t have my kids either. I couldn’t imagine life without them as they bring so much joy to me each day.
Even if it takes looking up at my diploma to make me feel good about my life, I don’t mind. I have everything that I ever wanted, and that isn’t so bad.
