Congrats on your hot tub! A friend of mine has a hot tub attached to her deck and it's great for summer parties. Her hot tub is sunken, if you go this route make sure you think seriously about the location and other possible upgrades you may want to do to your house in the future and how the hot tub will fit in with those.
