Have you ever walked into a model home and wished your house looked like the designer showcase home? Flipping through home décor magazines makes me want to hire an interior decorator except my budget and my husband have limited this fantasy. With strategically placed greens and accent knickknacks, turning any home into a designer showcase doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
Artificial plants and trees give a home warmth and fills shelves or empty corners. Wreaths with greens and flowers give rooms color and help tie together color in bedspreads and pictures. Coordinating items including vases or special keepsakes give the room personality. Candles make nice decorations and brighten a home. Scented candles are a pleasant addition to any table or nightstand and are inexpensive, colorful and practical.
Eco friendly items like soy candles will please any environmentalist and meet the needs of elegant décor. Using recycled items from garage sales and thrift shops can help you decorate your house but not break your budget. Adding show piece items to you home will bring grace and originality to your home decor. Decorating your home doesn’t have to cost a fortune as long as it looks like you did.
