Investing in Tampa Real Estate

Even though there are a lot of people that have been hit hard with the recession, I see this time as an opportunity for real estate investors. Since I happen to be one, it is a great chance to add more properties to my portfolio.
In order to invest my money wisely, I have enlisted the help of a Tampa realtor to expedite the process. It has allowed me the opportunity to look at properties before they hit the market as well as pick the brain of someone who is familiar with the local market.
But it hasn’t been easy looking at listing after listing of Tampa homes for sale. They sure do come in all shapes and sizes, but in terms of what I am looking for, it is all about the return on investment. If the property looks like it will be a winner, I crunch the numbers just to make sure before putting in an offer. So far we have picked up two properties and hope to have another five by the end of the month.
All I can really say is that I love to invest in real estate and I still get a bit of a rush when we close a deal. It is sure nice to do something that you are passionate about.
