Do You Have Adequate Coverage?

dentistAre you adequately covered?  If you are like most people, you have life insurance, car insurance, health insurance, dental insurance, and house insurance.  However, one thing that many employed individuals do not have is disability insurance.  In this ever changing and spiraling economy, you cannot afford not to have some type of disability insurance.

Disability policies, such as physician disability insurance policies, are designed to make payments to you in the event you become incapable of performing your normal task.  This is different than SSI or workers compensation.  With disability insurance, you have the option of both short term and long term disability insurance that can last you up to the rest of your life.

Once a policy is in force, it cannot be changed or cancelled as long as the premium is paid.  Also, if you are able to work a different job than the one you’re disabled in, you can still receive payments.  SSI and workers compensation do not provide this benefit.

If you became disabled, what would your family do for money?  In today’s economy, you cannot depend on the government to bail you out of any financial hardship.  Take action and buy a disability insurance policy for your own piece of mind.
