My Favorite Food is Making My Teeth Hurt

I guess you know it’s time to go back to the dentist when your favorite food makes your teeth hurt.

My husband and I love a restaurant called Thai Basil.  My favorite thing about them is their wonton soup and their crab-cheese wontons, though I also love their eggrolls and their sesame tofu.

Unfortunately, the crab-cheese wontons have been making my teeth hurt lately.  It seems to happen because the wontons are crunchy and hard to chew, but I’m worried that it means I have cavities.  I love this food above all else, so it really blows that it’s causing me pain.  Thai Basil is one of our favorite restaurants, and it’s affordable, so we go at least twice a month!

My solution lately has been to order something different — something called “golden tofu” is our latest favorite appetizer — but that solution isn’t going to work forever.  I’m rather overdue for a cleaning, so it’s probably time for me to find a Washington D C dentist to replace my old dentist.  If I do have to have a lot of work done — which wouldn’t surprise me at all — I’ll probably have to look into sedation dentistry in DC.
