My cat broke my outdoor wall fountain. Of course, I can never really prove it was him, but I know. He’s got this guilty look on his face, a look that just screams, “I eat mounted wall fountains for breakfast.” Trust me on this, I know cats.
Now granted, the fountain may not have been securely fastened to the wall in the first place and it hasn’t worked correctly in years. But that was, without a doubt, the most beautiful fiberglass wall fountain in the history of fiberglass wall fountains. Trust me on this, I know fountains.
I’m trying to think of an applicable punishment for him, but how does anyone punish a cat? How does the cat even know he’s being punished for something? Oh, well. Maybe I’ll just kick him a few times until I feel better. I’m kidding (kind of).
In other news, I’m trying to catch up on the latest season of Smallville. I’ve been so busy with other things, I haven’t had a chance to watch any TV, let alone teenage dramas about future superheroes. So far, it looks like it could be a very good season. They finally got rid of Lana and there’s more of a focus on Green Arrow, Aquaman, and the rest of the future Justice League. I just hope those rumors about including Doomsday were just that, rumors.
