A golf career could be something to aspire to, if you have the skill and are willing to work for it. There are several different types of careers you could be interested in. What is required, though, is the ability to take key courses to provide yourself with the skill to go after your career. There is a huge difference between having a professional career and just working at your favorite course. What comes in between is a range of jobs or careers, too. Ask yourself what your qualifications are.
For example, if you want a golf career in teaching golf, you should be someone that works well with other people, can explain things in detail and has the skills of the game that are required to be worthy of teaching. If you are someone that just loves to be on the course and enjoys managing people, then perhaps you would like one of the many golf course jobs available including management.
Prior to actually choosing the golf career for yourself, take the time to understand what qualifies you for it. What skills, personality traits and overall likes and dislikes do you have for the game? What are your contributions? Most importantly, even those that are really good need to ask themselves if they are good enough to become the professional that they want to be. When you are ready to make a decision, consider finding a quality school, such as one that provides all aspects of training. Your golf career could be defined at Professional Golfers Career College, or someplace else.
