An Idaho Job in Bail Bonds

A friend of mine recently moved from California to Idaho and has been having a lot of trouble with the adjustment. The lifestyle there is different. The culture is different. And let me tell you, the job market there is different. We thought that we were having a tough time in California with the economy taking away jobs but she’s found a lot more trouble getting work in Idaho than she ever did in California.
In fact, she’s had to take on a position that she really doesn’t like at all doing administrative work in a bail bonds agency. She is a legal writer by trade but she just can’t seem to get work as a paralegal or doing anything else close to her old legal experience except this work in the bail bonds office.
The worst part is that she can’t even work in the same city where she lives. She lives in Twin Falls but there are no bail bonds Twin Falls agencies that are hiring so she’s had to get a job in a bail bonds Boise office until something better comes along. She’s a good sport so she’s making the best of the situation but it certainly makes me hesitant about relocating any time soon!

I just graduated and am thinking about relocating to find that first official job. It’s a very tough market out there right now. I know a lot of people that have taken jobs in other cities from which they live and have a long commute.
